Triage the error

Find the exact file-size limit in the upload field or help page.
Check accepted file types and filename rules.
Keep the original file untouched.

Choose the target

Use the actual limit, not the smallest available number.
Use CEAC, IRCC, or India e-Visa guidance when the portal matches those routes.
