Use scan or import when the document starts on your phone, in storage, or as paper you need to turn into a PDF. It is the first step before choosing size targets, reviewing pages, or exporting a clean copy.
Workflow
Start with the source document, then review the pages that were created or imported. After that, choose the next preparation step: edit pages, add photos, merge files, choose an exact size, or review the final result.
Review
Check page order, page orientation, readability, missing pages, and whether the file still represents the document you need to upload. If the scan is unclear, fix the source before preparing the final copy.
Boundary
PDF Ready provides a light entry point for scan or import, not a promise that every paper document will scan perfectly or that OCR will be accurate.
Portal requirements
PDF Ready prepares around known checks such as size, pages, readability, restrictions, active content, and options such as OCR or PDF/A-2b when the workflow asks for them. If the portal shows an error the app can help resolve, you can adjust and generate another clean copy. The final decision belongs to the destination portal.
