PDF Ready

Guide

Scan a document before Prepare

Create the source PDF first, then choose GENERAL, IRCC, or CEAC in Prepare.

Start from Camera or Photos.

Step 1

Choose Camera or Photos

Use Camera when you are capturing the document now. Use Photos when the pages already live on your phone.

Step 2

Review pages before PDF creation

Catch obvious page problems here first. This is the right moment to review page thumbnails before the scanned PDF is created.

Step 3

Reorder, rotate, or delete pages

Scanner includes lightweight page cleanup before the PDF is created.

  • Reorder pages when the capture order is wrong.
  • Rotate pages that were captured sideways.
  • Delete pages that should not be part of the upload.

Product boundary: this is page cleanup before Prepare, not full PDF editing.

Step 4

Use Color / Stamps when color matters

Keep Text / Forms for plain text pages. Switch to Color / Stamps for seals, visas, colored marks, or anything where color is part of the document meaning.

Step 5

Adjust edges if needed

If the capture frame is not clean, fix the page edge before you create the PDF. Edge adjustment belongs to scanner cleanup, not to general page design.

Step 6

Create the PDF in Originals

When the scan looks right, create the PDF and keep it in Originals as the source document. Scanner does not skip directly to clean export.

Disclaimer: Scanner creates the source PDF on your phone. It does not guarantee final acceptance.
