When to use this
What it is not
A handwritten signature in PDF Ready is a visible mark. Do not use this path when the original file must stay digitally signed, validated, or untouched.
Step 1
Open the source row menu in Originals and choose Add handwritten signature. This is a before-Prepare edit on the current document.
Step 2
In this workflow, PDF Ready uses one handwritten signature asset for the current document. Draw it once, then reuse that same signature where it belongs.
Step 3
Put the signature where the destination expects a visible handwritten mark. This updates the current document in place; it does not create a visible generated result just for signing.
Step 4
Reuse the same signature on the pages that need it. In this version, think of the signature as one asset for this document, reused where needed rather than recreated page by page.
Step 5
When the visible signature is in the right place, open Prepare, choose GENERAL, IRCC, or CEAC, review the generated result, and clean export only at the end.
Disclaimer: A handwritten signature in PDF Ready is a visible mark only. It does not guarantee legal validity or portal acceptance.
