Privacy — Plain summary

By default, everything runs on-device. PDF Ready does not upload your documents to our servers (or third-party servers) to convert, merge, or validate — unless you explicitly enable an optional online feature.

Key principles

• On-device by default: your PDFs are processed locally on your phone.
• No accounts, no invasive tracking: we don’t require sign-up and avoid analytics that profile you.
• Data minimization: we only handle files you select and local app settings.
• Transparency: if you enable online validation, we’ll inform you before any upload.

What we process

Only the PDFs you pick in the app for pre-flight, merging, or viewing. Output files (e.g., the merged PDF) are saved locally so you can share or delete them whenever you want.

Online features (optional)

Disabled by default. If in the future you enable a cloud validation profile, your files will be processed temporarily to run the checks and auto-deleted within 24–72 h. No repurposing or profiling.

App permissions

• Files/storage: open the PDFs you select and save results.

Retention & deletion

• Local: working temp files are cleaned automatically. Exported PDFs remain on your device until you delete them.
• Online (only if enabled): automatic deletion within 24–72 h.
